about

The first three tracks were recorded between sessions for the Burying the Carnival EP in early 1985 and the Susan Sleepwalking LP in late 1985. They were released on a cassette that was only available in an issue of a Champaign-Urbana magazine named Auhtistic Chainsaw Gazette. The fourth track is a remix of a song on the band's first cassette album, Significant Others. The title "fil-12" is the catalog number under which the cassette was issued on Office Records.

Formed in 1983 when Mel Eberle and Steve Jones started collaborating, occasionally teaming up with Nick Rudd, Glenn Graham, Tim Hanafee and others.
